With better public transport links and proximity to world-class science and technology institutions, we’re excited for our move to the vicinity of Earnshaw Street, London WC1A (“the New HQ”).by end H1 2024. * As a Cash Analytics Manager you will be working within a team that are responsible for risk reporting and business control function for all Treasury activities. Responsibility extends to using analytics to support and develop the Treasury function. *Key Responsibilities:* *This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:* - Be able to understand and interpret the analytics that enables them to show where there is value to the business, challenge when required and transfer knowledge to the business. - Lead Process Improvement initiatives from identification of opportunities through to implementation of actions. - Support other teams within Treasury on the development of strategy, by providing data and analytical support. - Ensure that Treasury's current processes are reviewed and have the appropriate controls in place to safeguard Treasury operations and ensure compliance with Treasury and Group policies and external legislations, such as SOX. - Monitor the regulatory changes likely to be imposed on financial institutions and ensure the impact to Treasury's functions are promptly assessed. - Monitor all risk management activities to ensure adherence to the approved Group procedures and with authorities delegated from the Board. - Prepare detailed analysis of the Group’s foreign exchange risk management activities, including EGOL. - Develop and maintain reports to facilitate the Middle Office function with its risk and compliance monitoring responsibilities in line with GSK’s governance framework. - Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports to monitor the trading and execution activities by Front Office to ensure that they are trading within their mandated limits. This will include analysis of market indicators, such as bank CDS rates. - Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place to mitigate any risk breaches. - Liaise with External Audit to support sign off for the statutory obligations for the Treasury legal entities. - Liaise with Internal Audit ensure that Treasury's SOX obligations are managed within the approved annual governance calendar set by the Group. - Support the Manager –Middle Office in management of the departmental budget and in the monitoring of indirect cost savings. *Why you?* We are looking for professionals with these required skills and characteristics to achieve our goals: - A financial qualification, or qualified by experience (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, AMCT/MCT, CFA). - Experience in ERP, Quantum TMS and processes that support treasury activities. - Strong analytical experience including development of Power BI reports. - An understanding of Treasury operational and governance frameworks. - Communication and influencing of internal and external stakeholders. - Experience of working in Treasury for a large international organisation. - Advanced skills at Microsoft Office. *Job Application End Date : 7th Nov 2023 (COB)* *Why Us?* GSK is a global biopharma company with a special purpose – to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together – so we can positively impact the health of billions of people and deliver stronger, more sustainable shareholder returns – as an organization where people can thrive.
