The Pipeline Project Management (PPM) organization’s mission is to anticipate and orchestrate the unique combination of projects plans, people and budget that accelerate the delivery of the new drugs and vaccines to the patients who need them. Our goal is to accelerate the delivery by streamlining the process that brings new drugs and vaccines to market. The PPM Digital Data Analytics and Performance (DDAP) team’s mission is to embed effective integrated R&D project management through data management standards, systems, and analytics; Increasing organizational digital capabilities; Enabling efficient project, resource, and pipeline management with good performance measures. The DDAP Senior Director will be accountable for chartering the strategy & vision for Digital Platforms forming stakeholder alignment across PPM and other functions including tech partners. This role will be responsible for developing, leading, and successfully executing the strategy and delivery of integrated digital capabilities that will transform the digital experience of the pipeline project managers. The Sr.Director will be on point to elevate our digital presence and drive engagement across various digital platforms! *Key Responsibilities:* In this highly rewarding and visible role you will: - Act as the digital/technical champion & Knowledge expert. - Represent our digital products (including our planning tools) in senior meetings and provide thought leadership. - Accountable for creating a strategic vision and roadmap for digital transformation & prioritize focus areas, identify enabling resources and establish key performance indicators. - Facilitate stakeholder alignment conversations to drive towards shared goals of the organization. - Develop, Deliver and optimize digital experience projects to ensure operational efficiency. - Collaborates with the full enterprise technology team to ensure their roadmap is supportive and aligned with the overall strategy and broader enterprise objectives. - Lead team members to foster a culture of agile mindset. - Be proficient in multiple technology platforms and be able to work across data, digital toolsets. - Provides executive oversight on the assessment and validation of digital products. - Identify and promote best practices in architecture to drive scalability, performance, and sustainability. - Responsible for educating the organization on emerging digital trends, opportunities, and new tech that can continue to differentiate and create operational efficiencies. Develop and maintain technical knowledge of emerging technologies to play a proactive role in enabling better digital experiences. - Contribute to GSK’s external influence in industry and PPM’s reputation as a leader in data, digital management through conference presentations and publications. - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital initiatives. - Manage a team of highly motivated like-minded talent & take accountability for the development of others with a focus on measurable success and impact *Basic Qualifications* - Advanced degree in Information science and/or Computer Sciences - Extensive years of progressive related digital product experience, several years of people leadership experience in building high performing teams. - Experience working with Agile delivery. - Solid business and technology acumen combined with strong digital and user centric mindset. - Entrepreneurial spirit, strong judgement, and strong collaborative leadership skills including effective communication, emotional intelligence, relationship building and influencing skills. - Business-oriented and strategic mindset - Extensive pharmaceutical R&D experience is a plus. - Proven leadership and ability to influence all levels of leadership & ability to operate as an independent change agent to achieve strategic goals. - Deep expertise with project management tools such as Planisware and/or MS Project, and advanced proficiency with data management & Analytics toolsets - Strong communication skills in writing and presentation - Ability to foster a strong collaborative spirit internally and externally. - Adaptability to a multicultural environment, valuing diversity within a virtual distributed team environment - Adaptability and nimble thinking *Preferred Qualifications* - Extensive years of proven experience in a senior-level digital role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry - Several years of proven experience in a director level role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry having at least 2 direct reports. - Demonstrated success in developing and implementing digital strategies that drive engagement to achieve business goals. - Consistent track record of implementing, running, and delivering successful digital projects. - Excellent leadership and team management skills - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills - Experience leading and delivering digital engagement capabilities and platforms. - Experience leading agile teams. *LI-GSK *Why Us?* GSK is a global biopharma company with a special purpose – to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together – so we can positively impact the health of billions of people and deliver stronger, more sustainable shareholder returns – as an organization where people can thrive.
