*Job description* *Site Name:* UK - Hertfordshire - Stevenage *Posted Date:* Feb 13 2024 *Job Purpose*: As the Clinical Pharmacology and Modelling & Simulation (CPMS) Business Excellence Director you will provide functional leadership of the CPMS Quality, Risk and Compliance framework. *Key responsibilities*: - Accountable for driving a stronger Quality culture throughout CPMS. - Perform risk assessment to understand the level, significance, and scope of risk in CPMS activities. - Provide guidance and recommendations on corrective actions or risk mitigation of potential issues in policies, systems and employee or partner conduct in order to prioritise which activities and controls need management monitoring. - Maintain CPMS Risk Register and Management Monitoring Plan. - Engage in the development and improvement of SOPs, written standards, and processes to meet business strategy and requirements, ensuring compliance and quality. - Coordinate internal monitoring for business-critical processes (e.g., Outsourcing, Phase I-IV results, Dose selection, training). - Provide consultancy and monitoring for activities supporting Trial Master Files (e.g., Veeva) *Basic skills required:* *Education*: - Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent in a Scientific or business Discipline *Experience*: - Significant pharmaceutical industry experience *Preferred skills:* *Education*: - Master or Doctorate in a Scientific, Project Management, Pharma R&D, Education/Learning, or business discipline - #LI-GSK *Why Us?* GSK is a global biopharma company with a special purpose – to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together – so we can positively impact the health of billions of people and deliver stronger, more sustainable shareholder returns – as an organization where people can thrive.
