Discover more about our company wide benefits and life at GSK on our webpage *Life at GSK | GSK* *Demand Forecasting Manager – 2-year Fixed Term Contract* In this fast-paced role as a Demand Forecasting Manager, you will gain a broad view of GSK with exposure with working with varied markets both internally and externally involving key business interactions. *Job Purpose* The Regional Demand Forecasting Manager, is responsible for the development of a robust, un-biased and comprehensive sales forecast for all SKUs, across all therapies, in this case specifically looking after a portfolio of Tier 2/3 Markets, that are managed by the Customer Supply Chain Organisation. The demand plans will ensure that there is the appropriate level of inventory available in the corresponding MMWs/LSPs and LOCs. The Regional Demand Forecasting Manager will manage an additional level of complexity associated with multiple markets, distributor model, and/or process/system improvement activities. The Regional Demand Forecasting Manager will: - Be responsible for driving improvements in forecast accuracy and securing as a result improved customer service and lower working capital. - Have functional alignment and comply with the Demand Forecasting standards as defined by Demand Forecasting Director (e.g. segmentation, FVA). - Support the demand forecasting evolvement and vision by providing leadership for regional improvement projects and activities. - Additionally support the Demand Forecasting Director by preparing the necessary inputs for the Regional Therapy DRM’s (ViiV, Oncology, Gen Meds, Specialty Care). *In this role you will…* - Improve customer service levels, reduce working capital and minimize stock write-offs. - generates a demand plan (including supporting the the generation of statistical forecast baselines) for a 43-month horizon and leads the monthly Pre-Demand Review Meetings to make the necessary adjustments based on the market intelligence supplied by the LOC Sales and Marketing and/or Financial and Commercial teams - Responsible for the monitoring of demand forecasting KPIs and to drive improvements in accuracy, bias, working capital and customer service - Ensures, through input from the LOCs, that there is a comprehensive total volume forecast including New Product Introduction, competitor activity and tenders to ensure that proper production planning is in place, and develops an appreciation of the commercial supply chain and the capability of suppliers to respond to changes in demand - Develops demand scenario plans to support the stakeholders at market and regional level to assess business risks and opportunities and take the appropriate decisions - Prepares forecast inputs into the key Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) meetings, including Demand Review Meetings and EU Therapy DRM’s, feeding through to Supply Review and regional S&OP Meetings. - Manages exceptions to standard statistical baseline generation for SKUs on Demand Automation (IBP) – brings in overall understanding of the key activities and impact on statistical forecasting, highlighting to Demand Analysts related market dynamics, seasonality, generics entry, code changes, discontinuations, long term allocation, etc. *Closing Date for Applications: Wednesday 31st January 2024* Please take a copy of the Job Description, as this will not be available post closure of the advert.
