*Job description* *Site Name:* UK - London - Brentford *Posted Date:* Jan 22 2024 *Business Unit Director, Speciality Care* *Location: UK, GSK House, LondonOffice based role, minimum 2-3 days at GSK House. * This role is of critical strategic and operational importance in building the GSK Specialty organization to ensure the business can deliver value and meet strategic objectives in Specialty Care. You will be responsible for influencing, inspiring and aligning across GSK Specialty Care and the broader UK LOC to ensure resources, messages and mission are achievable. This business unit currently focuses on specialty respiratory therapy areas such as Severe Asthma and the business unit anticipates a significant number of launches in speciality respiratory and hepatology therapy areas. *Objective* Is to lead a cross-functional team of Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory and other supporting functions to ensure we deliver competitive in market performance and deliver “best in class” launches for our future Specialty Care assets and indications and to coordinate with the Global and Regional teams to share and learn from best practice and work at pace to implement. *Commercial objectives: * 1. Take accountability to develop and deliver clear strong brand plans 2. Challenge and shape the resourcing model and key operational strategies across the mix 3. Partner excellently with Medical, Access and Regulatory *Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * - Leadership of key business reviews - Leadership of operational planning process - Lead localisation (from global) of customer global materials to improve globally produced content to be fit for purpose for localisation - Build strong and collaborative relationship with global & regional team to ensure strong alignment between UK team and key stakeholders. - Support National Sales Director with segmentation and targeting and performance monitoring activities - Set and own appropriate KPIs and metrics for content performance - Accountability for the delivery of strategic projects to support brand competitiveness through lifecycle *Why you? **Basic Qualifications:* We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: - 2-5 years of sales and/or marketing experience - Sales and marketing background, with good understanding of UK market access environment - Strong commercial and business acumen - Has deployed segmented customer journeys across all core channels - Experience developing multi-channel strategies and campaigns for a brand, including all core digital channels - Experienced with marketing performance management - Understanding of the Pharma industry regulations (ABPI) *Preferred Qualifications:* If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Digital marketing diploma or equivalent - People leadership, management and coaching experience at 1st and/or 2nd line level - Interpersonal, communication and influencing skills at senior level – both internal and external - Budget & financial management planning, including an understanding of Profit and Loss / ROI - Works creatively and independently, with the passion and energy to drive business - Driven by optimisation of goal metrics over a period of time (results orientated) with analytical ability to use data to inform decisions. - Comfortable with creative thinking and problem solving - Highly customer & patient focused - Demonstrated project management skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Comfortable in a fast-moving and exciting environment - Pharma industry knowledge and experience preferable - Ability to work in a complex environment - Demonstrated ability to analyse and assimilate data - Demonstrated commercial acumen, resourcing, planning and decision-making skills - Experience leading large cross-functional teams - Project Management skills preferable - Account management experience and skills preferable - Ability to interact with senior customers preferable *Closing Date for Applications: 5th February 2024 (COB)* Please take a copy of the Job Description, as this will not be available post closure of the advert.
