In GSK’s Global Supply Chain (GSC), we are on an exciting journey with bold ambitions. We are creating one world class Global Supply Chain to deliver GSK’s new product portfolio and pipeline.
In GSC, we make and supply medicines and vaccines all around the globe and our teams own every production stage, from creating quality products at our manufacturing sites to designing effective supply forecasting and regulatory inspections; all powered by digital, data and analytics.
Over 3 rotations, our Future Leaders graduate program will:
Challenge and support you to grow professionally and personally

Provide the opportunity to network and increase your visibility with senior leaders who will mentor or coach you and support you with planning your rotations.
Improve your technical skills while gaining valuable on the job leadership experience

Provide Kaizens – a short-term breadth project which could give you international exposure
What will you do?
Introduce new digital technologies to transform our business
Optimize the performance of the control systems that are part of our manufacturing operations, e.g., maintaining and troubleshooting site control systems
Deliver automation projects, such as defining and implementing design improvements, upgrading and installing control systems and robotics systems, and ensuring that -suppliers and site equipment comply with international standards
Testing and commissioning
Identify and mitigate potential Cyber security risks or vulnerabilities related to Operational Technology hardware and software
Gain hands-on knowledge of digital technologies, the business and the role that Automation plays in supplying our patients

Requirements
We are looking for highly motivated graduates who are keen to develop into the future engineering, operational and technical leaders in GSC. Working at our manufacturing sites you will help to ensure we have the latest, safe, efficient and reliable processes and equipment to deliver life-saving medicines and vaccines to people in 90% of the world. This role will enable you to develop your skills in an industry that’s making radical changes to the way it develops and manufactures products.
Education required: Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics Technology Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field with interest in automation, robotics, systems, software and/or cyber security. Graduation by Spring/Summer 2024.
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
Other requirements: Willingness to be geographically mobile (domestic) throughout rotations
Locations in Ware, Barnard Castle with possible rotations in Worthing, Montrose & Irvine
