Specialist Inspector and Clinical Pharmacy Advisor (Part time)

Salary: £27,535 - £31,900 (£45,891 - £53,167 FTE) per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus benefits
Location: Homebased
Hours: 21 hours, 3 days per week, from 9.00 to 5.00

The role

- Do you want to apply your clinical knowledge and experience to provide assurance to patients and the public about the quality of pharmacy services and help drive improvement across a broad range of specialist clinical services?
We are looking for experienced pharmacists across Great Britain, particularly in Scotland, London and Birmingham, with a strong clinical background and with experience in prescribing to join a dynamic team where you will contribute towards patient safety by helping to improve the quality of pharmacy practice and support the delivery of our 2030 vision.

To reflect the broader range of specialist clinical services offered through registered pharmacies, we continue to build capacity and expand the clinical skills set across the inspectorate with the recruitment of experienced pharmacy professionals to make inspection judgements on the quality of clinical pharmacy services.
Â
You will have the opportunity to enhance your own profile and skillset and gain regulatory experience which will involve collaboration with different internal teams, and partnership working with other regulators and healthcare organisations.

We welcome applications from currently practising, registered pharmacist prescribers from all settings with a significant and broad clinical experience in a range of areas; such as medicines safety and risk management, management of long-term conditions, mental health and aesthetics.
