ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Scientist to join our Translational Unit on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity allowing you to play a critical role in bridging preclinical target and asset validation and early clinical proof of concept studies, working closely with biology leads, clinical and computational scientists.

REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for a professional with these required skills to achieve our goals:
PhD (or equivalent) in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology or related field or MSc (or equivalent) in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology or related field with relevant laboratory experience.
Background and expertise in Immunology.
Experience in flow cytometry.
Expertise in immunoassays (ELISA, MSD or Luminex) and primary cell culture techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Expertise in multi-colour flow cytometry and gene expression analysis.
Expertise in the development of ELISA-based and flow cytometry-based biomarker assays.
Background and expertise in autoimmune and immune-mediated diseases.
Previous experience in pharma or biotech industry; understanding of drug discovery processes including small and large molecule development.
Experience processing human biological samples, developing B cell, T cell and myeloid cell functional readouts, flexibility to adopt new technologies.
Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex scientific data; knowledge of different omics platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present scientific findings to internal and external stakeholders in a balanced, clear, and precise manner.
Proven ability to balance priorities across multiple objectives, meeting timelines while maintaining attention to detail and high-performance standards.Excellent record keeping and organisational skills.
Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements related to translational research and clinical development.
