ABOUT THE ROLE

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Work with a cross functional teams to develop national and/or brand category plans and strategies for the assigned project, which align Sales Strategy and Operations and Marketing objectives to customer needs;

  • Assist in pulling and analyzing syndicated and customer POS data;

  • Develop recommendations based on the analysis of data from various sources;

  • Assist the team to enhance and improve business results;

  • Communicate results, ideas and/or suggestions both in written and verbal format;

  • Interact with Bayer Consumer Health (BCH) colleagues in a variety of job functions within Consumer Health Sales Strategy & Operations, Marketing, and Customer Teams/Field Sales;

  • Develop negotiation tactics to deliver mutually acceptable outputs;

  • Upon completion of Internship, candidate will conduct an oral presentation of project results and key learnings to Bayer management.

REQUIREMENTS

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a bachelors degree program in business or marketing;

  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate work experience or capability in the following areas:

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills that allow for clear and concise presentations;

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail;

  • results oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deliverables effectively;

  • Proven problem solving skills;

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, self direction, and collaboration capabilities;

  • Must be eligible to work in the US now and in the future;

  • Be proficient in Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook);

  • Able to provide own transportation to and from work office location;

  • Ability to travel as needed for in person meetings or training;

  • Available May 2026 to August 2026;

  • Able to demonstrate work experience and/or capability in the following areas: Leadership, Analytics, Collaboration, Communication, Project management, Self direction and initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Junior pursuing completion of their undergraduate business (Sales) or marketing degree;

  • Experience with IRI or Nielson POS data;

  • Cumulative GPA 3.3 or higher.
