What you will bring…

- An understanding of medicines law and its application to registered services
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and medicines management delivery in health and social care sectors

What you’ll be doing…

As our Medicines Inspector, you will provide pharmaceutical expertise to our regulatory activity across the North of England.

Reporting to the Regional Medicines Manager, you will manage allocated inspection referrals, focusing on medicines optimisation and the management of the risks associated with the unsafe use of medicines.

You will also assist with delivering training and developing CQC representatives to enhance their knowledge and understanding of issues relating to medicines optimisation and the safe management of medicines.

Hours:Full-time, 37 hours per week

Contract:Permanent

Location:Homebased – North. Due to the nature of the role, regular travel will be required and we would particularly welcome applications from candidates residing within the Yorkshire region. Applicants from outside of the area are welcome to apply but because of the nature of the role, the location of applicants will be carefully considered to ensure the role and individual responsibilities are manageable.
