About the Role

You will work with the Global Finance Capabilities & Early Talent Team to ensure the Finance early talent programme and capability events run smoothly and deliver impact to support GSKs ambition. Working within this team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the finance talent programme through recruitment, development and offboarding. There will also be opportunities to support programmes, like Women in Finance, UK One Finance I&D and UK One Finance development & network team.  You will get to meet a wide range of stakeholders and develop key HR skills, particularly in the DEI space.

Some of the key activities that you will be involved in are:

  • Organise internal events both virtual and face to face for our finance graduate programme.

  • Assist in collation and tracking of metrics to support talent programmes and our diversity agenda.

  • Support our GSK Unlocked programme for students with a socially diverse background.

  • Event management: plan and implement webinars and other events associated with Global Finance development days.

  • Regular monitoring of new starters to enroll in relevant training.

  • Manage communications and marketing for Finance development events both in the UK & Globally.

  • Support tracking of budgetary spend.

Requirements

Education required: To apply for this placement, you must be:

Currently studying an Undergraduate Degree in any discipline.

Other requirements: You will have completed a minimum of 2 years of your undergraduate degree but will not have graduated at the start of your placement. You must be enrolled at a UK (United Kingdom) or ROI (Republic of Ireland) university for the duration of your placement.

If you have already graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree and are currently studying a postgraduate Masters, you are not eligible for this programme.

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

Expected Start date: June/July 2024

Duration: 1 year (approximately)
