About the Role

Please read below about the 3 different roles we are recruiting for across our Global Marketing Industrial Placements. Please note, these are distinct placements and so when you apply you will be able to select your preferences of where you would like to be placed if successful. We will accommodate your preference where possible.


Role 1: Global Pharma Marketing Operations (GPMO)


Global Pharma Marketing Operations operates across the top ten countries as well as supporting key regions like Emerging Markets or Greater China & Intercontinental, making it a truly global function. Our invaluable team does more than Marketing– they help bring innovation and value to the entire organisation.


Within Global Pharma Marketing Operations, we are creating a new programme to upskill and develop all our teams (in Marketing, Sales and Medical) to create personalised, interconnected customer experiences for our health-care professionals around the world.

Working with a variety of highly skilled people, you could be involved in a wide variety of tasks and initiatives. You could be creating the communications plan for leaders to understand and use the development programme with their teams or be drafting job descriptions of the future.

Role 2: Global Product Strategy (Lupus Specialist)


GSK is focused on the research and development of medicines for immune-mediated diseases, such as lupus, that are responsible for a significant health burden to patients and society. Our world-leading scientists are focusing research on the biology of the immune system with the aim to develop immunological-based medicines that have the potential to alter the course of inflammatory disease.


Global Product Strategy sets the vision and long-term strategy for our assets at GSK. As we transform GSK, we build strong relationships and connectivity with R&D to lead Global Product strategy. Within Specialty we are responsible for Lupus and the responsibilities include driving competitive product profiles, lifecycle innovation, competitive strategy, execution and brand performance across GSK in all markets.

Having delivered consecutive years of double-digit growth for GSK, we are a key growth driver for GSK, with some exciting lifecycle innovation in the pipeline.


Working with a variety of highly skilled people, you could be involved in a wide variety of tasks and initiatives including but not limited to external omnichannel campaigns, branding work, internal communications, cross-functional project management, congress and peer to peer events development.

Role 3: Global Product Strategy (Eosinophilic Disease Specialist)


Global Product Strategy sets the vision and long-term strategy for our assets at GSK. As we transform GSK, we build strong relationships and connectivity with R&D to lead Global Product strategy. Within Specialty we are responsible for Eosinophilic Disease (include Severe Asthma) and the responsibilities include driving competitive product profiles, lifecycle innovation, launch strategy, execution and brand performance across GSK in all markets.


Having our medicine launched in over 60 countries with 4 indications now approved in EU and launched in the US working on Nucala will give you exposure to a truly global function.


Working with a variety of highly skilled people, you could be involved in a wide variety of tasks and initiatives including but not limited to external omnichannel campaigns, branding work, internal communications, cross-functional project management (including launch), congress and meetings development.

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

Education required: To apply for this placement, you must be:

Currently studying an Undergraduate Degree preferably in a Marketing, Science or Life-Sciences discipline.

Other requirements: You will have completed a minimum of 2 years of your undergraduate degree but will not have graduated at the start of your placement. You must be enrolled at a UK (United Kingdom) or ROI (Republic of Ireland) university for the duration of your placement.

If you have already graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree and are currently studying a postgraduate Masters, you are not eligible for this programme.

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
