GSK is a global biopharma company with the ambition and purpose to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
GSK has 200+ student placements as well as graduate roles and internships opening across the UK for applications this September.

Dr Lamont Terrell
Inclusion and Diversity Lead
Lamont Terrell graduated from Texas Southern University in 1995 with a B.S degree in chemistry and in 2001 earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Michigan State. After a two-year postdoctoral stint at Stanford University, he began his career in drug discovery as a medicinal chemist at GlaxoSmithKline in 2003.

Laura leads GSK’s Early Talent Recruitment teams for UK + EMEA. She is passionate about driving inclusive recruitment practices that support hiring of great talent from all backgrounds into GSK’s Apprentice, Intern/Industrial Placement and Future Leaders Graduate programmes, across all business areas and functions.

Azzedine Dabo
Investigator
Azzedine completed his PhD (Solid State NMR to facilitate HPLC Method Development) at the University of Warwick and Pfizer and has since gained over 4 years industry experience at Mylan, Johnson Matthey and GSK. His research centres on analytical method development and optimisation for small molecules.

Ama Ankobia
Medical Science Liaison
Ama is a Finance FLP alumni with experience in financial reporting & business partnering across Pharma supply chain, Procurement & WREF. She is now in Medical Affairs as a Medical Science Liaison, providing non-promotional, medical support that helps to ensure the safe and effective use of GSK’s vaccines.

Wendy Jones
Regulatory Affairs Associate
Wendy is currently on the Regulatory Affairs FLP, where she has completed 2 rotations in Submission Coordination and Labelling. Within Regulatory Affairs, she works with various functional teams to bring together technical expertise in order to deliver compliant regulatory licenses for GSK's diverse portfolio.

Valerie Antanga
Communications and Government Affairs Associate
Valerie is currently in her second rotation of three on the Communications and Government Affairs Future Leaders Programme at GSK. Her role is very varied, and she has the opportunity to lead a number of external communications projects such as disease awareness campaigns.
